Slope Day

This was not consequence free for Kehlani.

In 2025, she got pulled from the lineup of Cornell Slope Day.

That's their big end of semester event, specifically because of her public support for Palestine and a bunch of Jewish organizations.

Plus, UC San Diego pulled out of San Diego Pride that same year because they said her comments were anti-Semitic.

Like, I've been able just to like go out and just have fun and like do all the traditional like college things.

And, um, since freshman year, I've been on like the Slope Day Programming Board, which has been like an incredible experience within itself.

And like this last year, like I was the executive director for that, which was really a formative experience, and it taught me so many things that I wouldn't have learned in ROTC.

But because I learned them there, I'm able to bring that to the table and like incorporate that in how, in my leadership style and, and, and have a, a more broad perspective when I'm on the job in the fleet.

I think it's called Feel Good, because we have this one teammate.
