Yeah.

I've had, I've had some luck, but, um, I saw this listing for this seventies Slingerland and, um, He wanted, like, a grand for it.

And I'm pretty sure I was a little buzzed when I, like, messaged him.

I was like, hey, is this available? Like, you want to trade? And I was like, he's not even going to look at this thing.

Bruce Springsteen one again.

And Max uses the kind of white pearl finished drums.

And that's what this Slingerland is.

And I was like, I'm going to be just like Max Weinberg.

That's real beautiful.

That's a classic Slingerland.

Oh, nice.

From 84, I think.

I mean, I went, uh, I remember going, sitting on my dad's kit.

He had this old, like, Slingerland kit, and I was like, "Okay, cool drums." And I would just kinda sit on it.

And you're le- you know, I'm lefty, so that's doing more movement, so then I'm gonna put that on the hi-hat that's moving a lot.

Mm.

And so then when Side By Side was o- when I was playing Side By Side, we got to open for Youth of Today.

It's like, holy shit, I'm opening for my favorite band.

Like, I remember I had my dad's, like, Slingerland drum set, this, like, 1960s or '70s, like, Slingerland kit.

It was really light.

Yeah.

Well, so, so as a, as a kid, uh, at 13 when I got my first drum set, uh, my dad got me my, my first drum set from the pawn shop, little old funky Slingerland set, big old funky Slingerland set.
