I mean, I know a lot of people are gonna say, Morgan Geier- Geyser, she's schizophrenic, so that explains it all, but I don't think it really does.

I, there's this other little girl, Anissa Weier, who, who isn't any of those things.

[laughs] She's not, she's not schizophrenic.

She's a normal little girl.

The night before, three 12-year-old girls had a sleepover.

The next morning, two of them, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, lured the third, their friend Payton Leutner, into the woods of a local park.

There, Morgan stabbed Payton 19 times while Anissa urged her on.

Their explanation, given to investigators in chilling detail, they believed they had to kill for Slender Man, that if they did, they would become his servants, and he would spare their families.

It gave the fear a name, a face, a set of rules.

Then it told her what she was supposed to do about it.

But Anissa Weier had no such diagnosis.

By the court's own reckoning, she was a 12-year-old who fell into a shared delusion, a girl who found a story that made her feel chosen, special, like she was part of something invisible to everyone around her.

Pagle did not appear for the Wednesday hearing.

Geyser and Anissa Weier stabbed a classmate in 2014 to appease fictional character Slender Man.

Both were convicted but found not guilty by reason of mental disease and committed to psychiatric facilities.
