Slammiversary

And here on Brace for Impact, it's another day, another great day for TNA.

On this show, we're gonna get a chance to talk about Slammiversary 2011.

And honestly, going into the show, I knew that there was going to be some good matches on here come out of it.

I will say that it turned out to be a better show than what I anticipated.

So we'll kind of have to see where this all boils down to, but there's a lot of great stuff going on in TNA.

And it's only going to really create some very good intrigue going into this upcoming week.

So we're gonna now talk about TNA Slammiversary 2011, but one thing I don't think I did was on the last show, uh, that I did a retro review, I don't think I went through what was going on during the time for what would've been, uh, WWE Over the Limit.

So I'm just gonna quickly go through that card, and then I'm gonna go into the other card, which is going to be Capital Punishment, which took place around the same time as Slammiversary So for Over the Limit, we had Daniel Bryan defeating Drew McIntyre in a dark match.

Yeah, we know who's giving out the free DVD.

It looks like about 800 fans are getting a Slammiversary DVD.

You're damn right they are.

And yes, I'm confirming that is my final note for today's show.

We will be doing some fun stuff.

We'll be getting back on track with some retro deals with TNA Slammiversary.

And I think my longest stream is still the day that I did Slammiversary and all those other shows.

And I ended up with like 12 hours.

I don't even know, honestly, how long those shows were.

think the Team 3D with the IWGP Tag Team Champions, right? Yep.

And I think, was it at Slammiversary? They did the title change, put the belts on beer money.

Not beer money.

The British invasion.

Like, I, I, I, I certainly wouldn't mind that.

Like, if Slammiversary every year was in a six-sided ring, I think that'd be a cool idea.

Mm-hmm.

Just 'cause it's a one night o-

I mean, that's what it is.

So I don't see what his reasoning would be to allow for them to take s- one of his top guys and, and use him.

Now, WWE and TNA used to be in competition, and they allowed for Ric Flair to do the Hall of Fame, and Christian did Slammiversary and returned, so stranger things have happened, and there could've maybe been some sort of talent exchange worked out for a night, but-

Yeah, i- there, if there would've been a caveat with it maybe, right?
