You guys know, I, I love sci-fi movies.

I can do every version of the dystopian ways Skynet's gonna turn on, and the robots are gonna take over, and The Matrix, and I can do all of that stuff.

However, you cannot stop human and technological advancement.

You simply cannot.

I kinda believe them.

Skynet, it's very, very scary.

Anyway, um, uh, speaking of, like, trends, we're gonna have to talk about, uh, in or out, the last one you brought up too.

Those are some texts that came in-

We're like, "Yo, we, as millennials, we, we lived through, like, every defining catastrophe ever." And we're just like, "What's another one?" You know? We're at 2026.

What's 2030 when AI tries to, you know, go full Skynet and, and terminate all of humans? It's like, you know, what, what, what's another one, guys? We can, we can deal with this.

This is cool.

But no, I mean, obviously enough trolling about it.

How is this going to happen? It's like Lawnmower Man.

It's Skynet.

It's, I don't know.

How is this going to happen? iRobot? How is the world going to

I think we have a ways to go.

Unless Skynet and AI gets here first.

Yeah, exactly.

But I do, you know, we've seen such a rapid decline in the last hundred years, right? So I think it's hard to say, but in the next few hundred years, we could really, you know, be super detrimental to the microbiomes that we have.

Well, it's either Skynet...

Uh, you know, I always say this, it's either Star Wars or it's Star Trek.

[laughs]

Do you know what I mean? Like, everybody, you know, like, you know, a multiracial, multicultural, multi, um, planetary society that all gets on a, you know, spaceships and explores the world for good, um, because of all of the things that AI allows us to be able to do, and to be able to save the planet and cure cancer and, um, you know, educate our children in a way that we never thought possible, free people from overtaxing, uh, labor that, uh, and, and give them a, a, a, an ability to have time and a universal basic income and to be creative and do things.

Like, there's all this beautiful side of it, man.

There's all the possibility of view side, or it's Skynet.

It's not like, you know, we can act like we can just live in a world that's going to be completely rid of it because of how much has been invested and built up into it.

That's also like Mike Adams type stuff of creating, creating our own decentralized AI that can combat the, uh, centralized AI that they've created that they're going to try to use for like Skynet and stuff like that.

And, uh, An allegorical example I have of that is from the Halo universe.

I was talking about there's an ancient race called the Forerunners that built super advanced AI.

And I think that's this race of getting stuff out fast that this year I think is a... not haphazard but there's i feel like there's a new service a new app a new thing to do something coming out every day i go away a week on holiday i come back and it's as though i've missed the year it is it's a lot it takes you two days to catch up with the week and in those two days something else has happened so you've got to keep on catching up but again you've got to pick your battles but i mean i agree with you as well i'm really optimistic about the future the doom and gloom i listen to all of it i want to hear that point of view um i think the closest one and i don't know who it was who talked about there would be 15 years of dystopia but once that 15 years is through there would be utopia to do with humanity and i think it is the confusion and it's probably similar to the way that the internet came out you know people were a it's a phase which isn't happening here we we understand that this is not a phase um and it's something new so people and so there's therefore there's not a lot of trust And we need to get a lot of trust earned by humans in AI.

Otherwise, we're going to keep thinking this is Skynet or the Matrix.

And that's our thought.

We're paranoid that something cleverer than us is going to overpower us and use us for fuel or work or whatever.

Yeah, Terminator.
