So I started...

I started when I was 13, like really, really young, as a mobile DJ, buying records, listening to music off radio shows and learning what the tracks were called and going out to, I think it was called Brash's back then, Saturday, some of the old record shops, with my lunch money and starting my record collection.

Yeah, so I started as a mobile DJ.

I entered the DMC Mixing Championships when I was 15. which kind of got me noticed by a couple of the judges that were judging at the time, Les Toth and Andy Van, who were and still are, you know, quite influential names in the local scene.

But because I was a drummer and I had a metronome, like a physical metronome in my house.

An early timekeeper, yeah.

So basically I'm listening to tracks on the radio and a metronome's got an up and down slider.

So that's kind of like a pitch control.

Responsible for some of the greatest trance and progressive trance vocal tracks of all time.

Things like Skydive, Freefall, Mercury and Solace, BT, Flesh.
