Bao Nguyen, director of the Netflix documentary Greatest Night in Pop, about the recording of We Are the World, is directing and producing.

Production responsibilities are shared among Skydance Sports, Optimum Productions, and NFL Films.

John Branca, co-executor of the Michael Jackson estate, is attached as a producer.

The NFL's decision to sign Jackson came after a significant setback.

And I'm going to say on this program that David Ellison is going to successfully get the NFL back at CBS and Paramount.

You know, him and Skydance Sports, they have a long working relationship with the NFL.

They have several, many co-productions together, including WWE Unreal for Netflix and the great Cowboys documentary that was also on Netflix last year.

Ellison actually recently told CNBC, we have a great relationship with the NFL.

And I think Oren said to keep those affiliate agreements up with the cable distributors.

The fact is, though, that it feels like the sports department, whatever they're calling it right now, CBS Sports, TNT Sports, Skydance Sports, it's just...

It's overloaded with so many rights, several of which are very valuable.

Obviously, you look at the NFL, you look at March Madness, which they've been collaborating on since 2011.

Ooh.

And Skydance Sports.

Oh yeah, that's right.

Skydance in the news lately, taking over Hollywood.

So it makes sense for them to start to pump this type of content out ahead of time.

And open season will be available starting on September 29th through their TV app on the MetaQuest and will be a natural fit for Skydance Sports.

I misspoke as well, too.

Open Season is the name of the program, and it's actually made by Skydance Sports is going to be producing it, and the production company behind it is The New Media, which is Green's production company.

Meta says the sessions are unscripted as well.

Again, if they know they're there, it's a little tough.

But anyway, there was one trailer, another movie from Paramount, but also from Skydance.

Skydance Sports, they're calling it.

And Skydance, of course, is David Ellison's original film finance and production company.

Also NFL Films with Skydance Sports.

He has built a great partnership with NFL Films.

And so I'm very excited for the future for AEW and everything happening at Warner Bros.

By the way, my new partner, Tarek Tomei, his father, Dr. Tomei Tomei, raised a ton of money.

He raised $5 billion in capital for Tom Barrack and Colony Capital back early 2000s, back before Skydance was established.

herrick's father was asked to get on a plane with david to the middle east and to raise money for skydance back this was late the late oh the late 2008 nine before maybe 2010 um i don't think they brought an investor at that time but i mean that's how deep the relationships are uh you know in various ways i you know david ellison likes he loves aviation he loves movies and obviously you love this this whole paramount warner brothers transactions about ip it's about scale it's about competing with the netflix's and the the the amazons and combining the the streamers that get 220 million subscriptions from paramount plus and uh you know warner's uh max subscribers subscriber base combining all the ip combining uh all of the i mean it's it warner brothers has some of the best ip of anyone in in hollywood it's it's that's why that's why they're doing it allison was on cnbc and sitting in december uh back when this was still a a live auction and he was he was telling them he valued the linear cable channels at one dollar per share when like zazloff won five dollars per share he didn't give a fuck about the tv stations so um at least at least that's what his public statements are that i would take away from them um it's not it's not why they did the transaction but also like you know would listen to the order or like the chronology of this introduction i've known david ellison i've worked with him well then he says nfl films so a couple years ago david ellison and scott ance did a 50 50 joint venture with nfl films it's called skydance sports um skydance sports is 50 50 owned with nfl uh the nfl nfl films is not part of the overall skydance hierarchy uh in terms of it's not under paramount it's a separate separate company skydance sports it's 50 50 ownership When he says NFL films, what do you mean he worked well? He bought 50-50 ownership of NFL films and you were introduced to him.

That's what I infer from this.

This premieres Thursday the 24th on Paramount+.

This show comes from Kim Kardashian's Skydance Sports and also the producers of Love Island USA.

It follows seven families whose teenage sons attend Legendary Prep Academy, which is such an obnoxious name.
