Sky Tavern Ski Area

Today, we are heading up to the mountains to talk about a place where generations of local families have learned to ski and snowboard.

We're talking about Sky Tavern.

At the October 21st Reno City Council meeting, an agenda item proposed extending Sky Tavern's lease of city-owned property through October 31st.

2118 or 2118, whichever way you want to say it.

That's the maximum total lease of 99 years, helping the nonprofit plan and raise funds for improvements long term.

If you want to find staff reports about these items and everything else discussed during the meeting or even watch the council meeting, check out Reno.gov forward slash meetings.

Now on to today's topic.

Joining us is Chris Brown, CEO and executive director of Sky Tavern.
