Skindred

All right.

We'll start off here with new stuff from Skindred.

This is Big Em Up.

Okay.

Remember when they were at our show and he got, like, really gay with people backstage, like, trying to make out with guys? Yeah.

He was bad, but it was like he was assaulting people.

Like people who weren't interested were being kissed by Skindred a lot.

And aggressively.

I was like, why would I do that? I don't approach anyone ever.

Like I've met Benji from Skindred, but I never approached him.

He literally walked right in front of me.

and did the whole like wagwan fist bump to me but i didn't say i didn't approach him i just don't do it

Did you go watch them?

No? Who did they clash

with? Well, they didn't really, but they overlapped with Skindred on the Secret Set, Pretty Reckless and Magnolia Park.

I was napping on most issues of Pretty Reckless.

I mean, I was listening.

I mean, don't know if you'd put Skindred in the nu metal camp.

Probably not.

See, I, I, I would say the-

I'm a bit of a rock chick.

And, and it was Metallica on, and Skindred, and it was just amazing.

Mm.

Although it nearly killed me.

I'm in bed with...

I'm in bed with Skindred tonight.

I'm in band.

Honestly, Skindred get around.

They do.

Do you know

we haven't really had too many

sort of rough

It's gonna be hard.

Um, you got, you got Slash, Pantera, Metallica, Skindred, While She Sleeps, Sleep Token, Slipknot, Fozzy, Shinedown, uh, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, the original lineup.

What an awesome-

That's who you have

Uh, Pantera, Metallica was your closer on the first day.

Yeah.

Skindred, While She Sleeps, Sleep Token, and Slipknot on your second day.

Fozzy, Shinedown, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath on your third day.

Ready or not.

That's a band called Skindred, by the way.

I, I like them a lot.

Boom.

Back in 2001, when Soil, you know, the Scars record came out, we got booked for a UK and European tour in early part of 2002.

And the lineup was Edema, Soil, and Skindred.

And it was called the Head to Head Tour.

And on that tour, soil just exploded in the UK.

And I'm getting goosebumps right now just thinking about it.

After all these years, you go to 2026 right now, and that lineup is completely flipped.

Now, if we all toured together, it'd be Skindred, Soil, and Edema.

And we're still great friends with Skindred.

Yeah, I don't recall being in Akagula much, if at all, after that.

So, yeah, we've got Slipknot, De Antwoord, who will come to Trivium, Skindred, Behemoth, Powertrip, Royal Republic, and Alien Weaponry on Main.

That's a hell of a date.

Mm-hmm.

We went to the Danish Quarter.

I remember...

What do I remember seeing? Skindred.

Skindred.
