Siquijor

But long before pharmaceutical companies and clinical trials existed, there were healers, people who understood plants, energy, the human body in ways that defied easy explanation.

And some of the most powerful, according to legend, have gathered in one place, a tiny island in the Philippines called Siquijor, more commonly known as Witches Island.

People travel from all over the world to find it.

They come looking for healing that Western medicine can't offer, for spiritual cleansing, for love potions, for answers to questions they can't even ask a doctor.

And many of them leave believing they've found exactly what they came for.

But Siquijor doesn't give without taking.

Beneath the healing and the wonder, the island carries a darker reputation.

Black magic, ancient curses, and creatures that lurk in the jungle at night.
