SIPOC

And so let's get into that.

So when we talk about systems, a nice, easy, well, it's not easy, but an easy way to think about it is SIPOC is like a, an acronym to remember if you can remember it.

But basically what it's saying is that each system is going to have suppliers.

So people that give you something inputs.

I would definitely include IT or security teams because we want to make sure that we're managing risk appropriately.

As far as specific methodologies, so I've never used it before, but SIPOC looks pretty good as just a good process to improve.

So maybe check that one out.

Yeah, no, I think that makes a lot of sense.

But if it was, it needed to be explored.

We needed to have SIPOCs for everything that touched everywhere else that we needed to have a serious conversation with.

And in order to accommodate the vendor, we needed to take their best practices and adapt them with a negotiation back and forth between their salespeople and the company's implementation people, because they needed to say, listen, guys, you need to give us a little bit of help on the development side to customize where we actually need to make this different.
