Sione Vaki

I don't know that it will be Kareem Hunt, but he did work out for the team recently.

I can see, though, the Lions hand- landing a free agent at some point, uh, that they have a little more confidence in than Vaki.

Uh, so I expect Kamara to come back.

Uh, Zion Vaki, uh, of the Lions, uh, not saying he's for sure the handcuff, uh, to own, uh, but he did get 30% of the play time to Gibbs' 72%.

He was the only other running back to get play time.

Uh, two attempts, seven yards, uh, also had a target, one catch, 11 yards.

I think I saw 12 weeks.

I'd have to verify that.

But it looks like Pacheco's gonna miss more time than we did expect, so, uh, not a bad idea to toss a flyer out on Vaki.

Um, everybody that I'm gonna be naming here, I think 0 to 2% FAB is, is totally fine, uh, to spend.

So I don't really understand the moderation thing, and I don't think Dan Campbell's gonna understand it for Jahmyr Gibbs.

They need him, because this offense needs to run through him, and behind him there's a lot of inexperience and not a lot of dynamic play-making with Vaki and Jacob Sailors as your RB two and three this year.

However, for the matchup with Buffalo, I, I, I lean over 54 and a half, but I love Detroit.

You have a first-year head coach in Joe Brady who's never done this before.

Like, who? He doesn't come off the field.

What, he, how, how often did he come off the field for Sione Vaki? Like, what was it, like a handful of snaps?

Mm.

Like, he's gonna get 40 touches if, if they're not careful.

At the same point, though, he's your bell cow back obviously, and you ran him to death in week one off overtime as well.

I can see a little bit more Vaki.

I can see maybe just a bit more passing plays because the Bills' secondary got torched by C.J. Stroud in week one.

Against the run, they weren't that bad.

And, Lomas, I know that they signed Isaiah Pacheco in the offseason to try to be his complementary back, but he's injured right now and on IR.

And they've got a couple of young guys behind him in Sione Vaki and Jacob Saylors.

I don't know if the offensive staff fully trusts them yet to give them, you know, maybe the 8 to 10 carries that they were planning to give Pacheco as a complimentary back.

So how are they going to square that going forward here after seeing very little of those two guys this past week?

this could be a season shutdown if there's any sort of setback here.

But, yeah, our boy Sione Vaki, we saw – him, you know, Jacob sailors like on special teams.

And again, we don't require mandate need to see Vaki out in a meaningful role on offense, but let's be fair.

They also probably don't want to give 450 touches to Jameer Gibbs.

we'll see.

This is a game where if Sione Vaki is ever going to run the ball successfully, this is one of them.

Because he is a hard charger.

Doesn't necessarily have a lot of vision or wiggle to him.

Whatever Goff, what happened with

Goff? But on that play, Vaki was trying to leak and Vaki ran into Sewell as he was trying to get out.

And that then caused Sewell to not be able to drop.

And then it was really more Vaki's fault than Sewell's.

And so I'm not overly worried about Sewell.

I think he's adjusting pretty good.

And again, that's an adaption that you make as the week goes on.

you don't want to use Gibbs as much.
