Simple living

Master, gazing over towards this man's place one day, remarked, He is like a king in his palace.

Such is the joy of simple living.

Master used to say, Whenever I see somebody who needs something of mine more than I do, I give it away.

A few years ago, he told us, I had a fine musical instrument, an esraj from India.

Though Redditors would cringe at this characterization, in many ways it reminds me of America Online twenty years ago.

I like to browse forums, or subreddits as they're called, like Personal Finance, Simple Living, Financial Independence, and Lean Fire.

That last one merits more explanation.

I never heard the term lean fire until I found the Lean Fire subreddit, but I think it's something that might appeal to a certain group of Get Rich Slowly listeners.
