Where should I go on this one? I've seen a lot of criticism of Simon Weaver's tactics, and I think Eastleigh might just do this one 2-1.

This seems to be, this podcast today especially, we were speaking off air, there's probably six or seven managers that are under pressure.

Harrogate's Simon Weaver for us is not, but in the fact the Harrogate fan base especially, He's very divided in opinion, obviously.

It's obvious who he is to anyone that follows this kind of level that he's involved with the chairman.

I think, is it son?

From a Harrogate point of view, they'll be disappointed with the defending, I think.

Disappointing overall in the sense that they've managed to sort of fold in essence.

I think Simon Weaver said afterwards they were good until... sort of 30 40 minutes obviously the goal when it came just before halftime would have killed them i think because they'd have gone out 1-1 it probably would be a very different game and the two goals in the second half as well came at basically the perfect times for ball and wood as well on the 55th minute and the 66th minute as well so just basically being able to kill the game off when they need to but they've got so much energy up front ball and wood that they're going to be relentless for any team that they've come up against and from a harrogate point of view We've obviously spoken about how good their start is, especially coming down from League Two.

Maybe they're not as good as those top one or two sides.

So they were probably the better side over the course of the first half, first two thirds of the game.

And I've seen a couple of things on social media after the game where a lot of people are saying Simon Weaver needs to go.

We're not going anywhere with Simon Weaver in charge.

I know there's a core base of Harrogate fans that have said that for years and years now, but it just seems quite shocking to me that you're the second top scorers in the league.

You've got a 63% win percentage this season, two points per game.

But yeah, McGowan and Hamami added a third and Harrogate sitting second, obviously one point behind Boreham Wood now.

I'm sure if you just said that to any of their fans and Simon Weaver and the chairman and everyone involved with Harrogate, that's where you'll be.

You'll be exciting fans this season.

You'll be in this position there to beat your hand off for it right now.

They're going to bounce back into the EFL.

They've kind of gone under the radar, haven't they? No big voices coming from Harrogate, but Simon Weaver is a master at that, isn't he? Just get his head down and get the job done.

I think that's what Simon's always been about, even when he took them up.

It's all about... just getting the job done.

But 13 points from six games is an outstanding start to the season for them.

And I think you have to give Simon Weaver huge credit.

He said in his post-match it was their most impressive performance of the season.

There was defensive resilience from them.

and in terms of like longevity sustainability what what's harrogate strategy been in terms of the manager because you know some clubs like to chop and change but it's not really in harrogate's dna is it

no well there's the family connection there obviously where simon's simon weaver's manager simon weaver's dad sorry is the owner irvin weaver and uh How it all started, I don't know how familiar people are with the story, is that Simon took on the manager's job firstly as a player manager role before Irvine, his dad, got involved as chairman.

That became the season after.

But obviously, once that's all in place, you've got the foundations for a long relationship and the success of a club has kind of meant that they've stayed together.
