Elsewhere, Tennessee death row inmate Krista Pike has been released from the hospital and returned to prison following a botched execution attempt last week.

Simon Jacks has this report.

Pike was transferred back to state prison after spending over a week receiving emergency treatment at a local hospital.

The 50-year-old inmate was scheduled to die by a lethal injection on September 30, but the procedure was halted when she remained conscious and continued breathing after the drugs were administered.
