So Simon, do you mind sharing a little bit of your background and what led you to your podcast and interest in all of these amazing topics?

It goes back a long way, actually.

When I was 10 years old, I would go to the local public library and get out the books that were about just supernatural stuff.

You know, being 10 years old, so it'd be UFOs and Bigfoot and ghosts and anything I could find.

So I've been fascinated since that sort of age.

And then as I got older and books like Raymond Moody's book, Life After Life, was published, And I just read when I read that book, that was so great.

It's so eye opening.

Oh, wow.

So if you could perhaps give a little bit of an introduction beyond the bio about how you got involved in this field and what sort of inspired you to write this book.

Well, I've always been interested in the supernatural.

Since I was 10 years old, I would go to the local library and get books out.

Then it could have been ghosts and poltergeists and Bigfoot and UFOs, just anything.

And as I got older, I became more and more interested in just two things.

One of them was UFOs and the other one was evidence of an afterlife, I suppose.

And so with the UFO side of things, back then in the 70s, 80s, the researchers seemed to concentrate on the craft.

Do you remember that case?

Why me?

Yeah, that's very difficult.

It's like you say with the sightings, why does somebody see a UFO? And is it because they've chosen that person to see them? And maybe they're having an ongoing relationship with them and the person doesn't know about it.

Maybe this person, for them, it's a wake-up call of some kind.

It's also a thing of how do they choose who they're going to pick up? You know, how do they know whether I am or you are suitable for their programme without going to every single child and checking them to see if they're suitable? And I wonder if it's something that's worked out before you're born.

because I think there's so much to do with consciousness and out of body experiences amongst the salient abduction stuff.

And there's something that came up for me in hypnosis when I was going through a past life regression where I just saw myself with two greys before I was born.

What do you think about that?

Are alien abduction stories fiction or evidence humanity's interacting with a hidden intelligence?

I, I think it's, uh, it indicates that, that we're interacting with a non-human intelligence.

It- there's so much of this going on, and I, I was, uh, interviewed on an, a YouTube channel recently, and I've had people emailing me asking to be regressed back to times where something happened to them with aliens.

And normally all I do is past life regression, and I had two sessions like that on Saturday.

Some- somebody had a four-foot owl, and owls aren't four feet tall, and this is one of the things that the pa- shows up in the pattern of, uh, of alien abduction.

It's called screen memories, where it's like the aliens can pick something out of your mind that would make you, make them more or, or less frightening so that they, they overlay that.

So you see an owl there.

What, what's your feeling about all of that?

So what typically happens to them in an abduction scenario? Is it, is it consistent? And is this something that's physical, or is this something that their, their consciousness is taken? What's, what's sort of the, the standard or typical abduction experience then?

Yeah, well, it depends how old the person is.

In my book, I've got a, a...

Well, there's screen images, first of all.

That's where I'll go first.

People I've talked to are adults, but they said when they were four or five, they'd wake up, and they would see maybe monkeys in their room, or the Muppets, or clowns.

There's people who are usually, like, 50 or 60 describing clowns.

Do you have Rh-negative blood?

So I have to ask you, as I ask most guests, what started your interest in this topic to begin with, in any of it?

I've always been interested, as long as I can remember.

When I was 10 years old, I'd go to the local public library and get out books, anything supernatural or unexplained.

And over time, as I got older, it's came down to two different paths.

One's about the afterlife, and the other one's about UFOs.

And the one with the afterlife is it's like a, an interest in evidence of an afterlife.

you also are a past life regression hypnotherapist you are you're certified you do that work beyond being interested in the ufo subject so that's why i again not to put you in the spot but i thought i wonder if simon would come back on to talk about near-death experiences and things because that is a fascinating subject so Simon, the age old start for a podcast interview such as this, I suppose, is why in the world are you interested in UFOs and aliens and the abduction phenomena?

I don't know.

It's weird.

It's just always been a fascination.

And in those days, it could be anything.

It could be Bigfoot and ghosts and UFOs and what have you.

Yeah.

Can you tell us about that, or is it uncomfortable to talk about your abduction?

No, it's okay, 'cause in December I had another past life regression, and we investigated that there as well.

But I was taken through a past life, and I must have saw myself in Venice, and I think it was the 16th century, and I saw the death of that past life, and I found myself as a ball of light looking down on that body.

And then the hypnotherapist said, "Okay, now just drift away.

Just drift away from that life.

Leave it all behind.

Just tell me the next thing you see." And instantly I was terrified.

Do you think that's a part of their fascination with our reproduction and our exams, or are they just using us to make hybrids?

So that was so cool to read your book and see just case after case of people were like, gosh one that really touched me was where the guy the medic is trying to you know in the i think the autopsy room or something and said this one's not dead this man's not dead and then the guy's having and sees the actual guy drake that's his name drake do you remember that one

Yeah, because that was Vinnie Tolman and they'd had the supplement because they were going to the gym and they had this muscle building supplement from Thailand and they couldn't read the instructions on the packaging and they overdosed on it.

So the two guys both died, basically.

But he was stuck in the toilet in a burger joint, locked in.

And his buddy died at one of the tables.

So the ambulance came.

They picked him up, took him away.

This is as far as you get to go.

Can you share with us your own personal UFO experiences?

Yeah.

Um, there's...

I don't know how much that I should say, 'cause I'll do...

I, I'll go into a monologue and I'll go on forever.

But, um, my first UFO sighting was back in, like, 1992, and I was playing bass in a band, and we did this gig in a town west of London.

And we packed up, and it was, like, 1:00 AM Monday morning.

Do the majority of the cases have lifelong contact like you've had, or is it more just a one-time event?
