I can't remember.

And anyone listening who knows what I'm talking about will know exactly what I'm talking about.

And it was like viewers or listeners, whatever, would write in with their sad story.

And then Simon Bates would read out this sad story.

And it was, I think it was like the theme tune for Romeo and Juliet or something.

in the house then you had another group of people going to get the tinnies and the beers and another group to go and get a pizza and then we'd all used to convene back at someone's house and then we'd find either the it was skipping it was it recorded another show or it was inappropriate for viewing did you have any recollections of dvd nights or video nights

um video nights my Oh, my recurring memory is whenever you put a VHS video on, you had Simon Bates at the beginning going, beware of illegal videocassettes, and give you all the spleeb about pirate videos.

But yeah, I didn't really have video nights with mates.

It was a departure for the band because it was a ballad.

But when Simon Bates said, this has got to be a number one, yeah, okay, Simon, whatever you say, mate.

Well, take Boom Radio, for instance.

I saw David Lloyd, who runs it, last week, and he was saying something very interesting about how his audience, he believes, really enjoys the fact that the DJs are not in a studio, that they like being told, hi, it's Simon Bates here in wildest Dorset.

And then the next DJ is in Scotland or in Nottingham or somewhere.

What it means is that you sit there with your computer.

So the piss steak prices, we're keeping an eye on things that are shockingly poor value, even allowing for context.

So this one I'm going to do a bit like, who is the thing? Was it Simon Bates that used to do the art?
