Simon Ashdown

this is dim and distant, but some people will remember it was the reveal to Bradley and Tanya that Max and Stacey were having an affair.

And it was huge because we'd so slowly, Simon Ashdown, who was the head writer, had kind of come up with this sort of affair story that we'd so kind of slow geared on it that it was this kind of crunching inevitability, this kind of glacial storytelling.

But by Christmas, the glacier was extremely powerful and unstoppable.

That was a great moment.
