Luckily I did.

And then I joined, I was stationed in Washington state first here locally in Silverdale.

And then I went to Japan to Washington DC and then came back to Washington and where I was actually medically retired, which I always like to say, it's like luckily chronic, not terminal illnesses, which I'm very grateful for.

But over the course of my career, I did a whole bunch of different things.

That's when I felt the most fulfilled.

And like, I was really doing what I was meant to do.

And of all things, it was when I was a baby attorney working on the Silverdale Naval Base up here, helping young sailors prepare wills and powers of attorney for their young families and when they were getting ready to deploy so that they had a little bit of peace of mind when they were away.

And I had a fabulous mentor, this man named Daniel Jones, who was like came into the Jaguar in the days of a few good men and like kind of looked like a little bit of that like stereotype.

Yesterday I was at the UPS store in Silverdale, Washington.

Mm.

Okay?

Um, you know, we didn't have simunition, but we actually had paintball guns, doing force on force.

And then from there, I was assigned to the Marine Corps Security Force Company, Naval Submarine Base Bangor in Silverdale, Washington.

And when I got up there, it was, it was a nuclear submarine base, Ohio class submarines, and it was, you know, guard duty with the limited area.

You know, you, you had the different posts you stand, like, uh, the gate, 22, 22 Charlie, 22 Delta, Mike 22, uh, the towers, Mike 31, 32.

Or if they're not from Seattle, they're like, "That's new."

In all fairness, has anybody heard that much of Sir Mix-A-Lot? Because I lived in a, I lived in a town called Silverdale, which is right next to a city called Bremerton.

It's like right across the Puget Sound from Seattle, and that's where Sir Mix-A-Lot is from, is Bremerton, and he's got a song, I've heard it once when I was living there, called Bremalose.

So in Bremerton, Bremerton, uh, in and around has, uh, a n- a naval shipyard and, uh...
