Silver Stadium

I grew up where life is worth living, and I'm very proud of that.

And I used to go to games at Silver Stadium, was a Knothole gang member, like so many other people in our community.

And so many people that work on our team, right? The Silver Stadium was the first place they went to a game.

And there's nothing like going to your first game, right? You see the first time you walk up that ramp and you see the grass that's greener than any grass in Rochester.

the smell of hot dogs wafting in the air and the vendors yelling and,

Best Red Wings memory? Oh boy.

Now that is a loaded question.

I think it's a tie, right? I think opening ESL Ballpark in 97 and closing down Silver Stadium in 1996, those were two of the coolest nights that I've ever been an employee of Rochester Community Baseball.
