Wolverine-focused game, you've got to have Jean in there.

If you weren't going to do Jean, then you had to do Silver Fox, and they weren't going to do Silver Fox because this is a different type of story.

This is like a what-if.

In that he has canonically crossed lines, and it's kind of impossible to get redemption.

Rape, murder of sex workers, Silver Fox is a whole conversation.

Ripping up Dokken into pieces to write a happy birthday message in body parts... gutting Psylocke, ripping off Warren's wings, the Morlock massacre, those horrible panels of him murdering innocent mutants on Krakoa when he attacks.

But I think that's part of the appeal, weird, because if you think of villains of the X-Men, Sabretooth's likely to be in your top five that you think of first.

He's never had that.

He doesn't really have any value in that, you know, kills for himself.

He kills out of revenge or for money or just to enjoy it and i think that's what always is fascinating is that they're linked to this like conflict where like every year for his birthday saber tooth targets him and you know it goes all the way back to the murder of silver fox so they will always be in this fight against even farther back wolverine fucked his sister one time That's a good reason to want to kill somebody, I

think,

Wolverine travels to the peaceful Japanese farming village to... find inner peace but must face Silver Samurai who threatens the village.

Wolverine, Sabretooth, Maverick, and Silver Fox are lured back to a secret Weapon X facility by Talos to uncover the truth behind their false memories.

During a snowy Christmas Eve in New York, Wolverine searches the underground tunnels to find medicine for a sick young Morlock child.

And leading up to the four-part season finale, Apocalypse initiates his master plan for a time and space to capture the universe's greatest sidekicks, including Professor X, in order to rewrite reality and become absolutely rude of all existence.

We see that Wolverine is now living with the beautiful Kayla.

Later on, we learn that she's the comic book character Kayla Silver Fox.

So Wolverine is living with her.

uh he's like a lumberjack she takes him to work and he's getting in the back of the pinto with all the other lumberjacks and she's like no you have to give me a kiss first and all and you can see that that james is happy and they're happy together and you know all the other lumberjacks are like oh you knucklehead like how'd you end up with the such a great woman you know that the sort of ribbing that lumberjacks do i imagine i'm not a lumberjack but you know i imagine that there's like the good-natured ribbing and that sort of thing so they drive off the scene changes we check in with our first other member of team x that's bradley he has the power to like control electronics i'm guessing something along those lines uh because we've seen him use his power on the plane and then in the elevator at the last mission and all that so we kind of get the idea that he can control like electronics and or machinery with his mind right so uh victor tracks him down and kills him like it's it's like a 10 minute scene we don't really need to get into it victor tracks him down and kills him we cut back to logan there's uh Another deal here where she's dropping him off at work again.

And you start to hear outside Logan's voice as he's just yelling like Victor, because he knows it was Victor that did that.

So.

wolverine comes in him and victor fight victor beats him i don't really need to go into the detail of the fight it's a fun fight it has a lot of 24 hours vibes which i think was issue 10 or 19 i'm doing this off the top of my head i forget what it was but i know that i covered it i want to say it's wolverine volume 2 issue 10 24 hours but i don't think that's right i think it's closer to like 19 um either way i've covered it so if you want to find it go way way way back when probably in like the 30s or 40s but i did cover that issue really great issue uh it's the one that establishes that like every year on j on logan's birthday saber tooth comes to beat the living crap out of him and in one of his birthdays he killed kayla silver fox at least that's how the memory implant goes So Wolverine at this point, he's still going by James.

I'm just calling him Wolverine for the sake of it.
