This was not really on my radar to do.

And as I have all these conversations at the wineries, it keeps coming up, Silver Falls State Park, and so I look it up and it's only about 30 minutes from where I had moved down into the valley and where I was going to be.

At this point, this was more closer to Salem.

But yeah, the movie begins with a voiceover from Bella Swan as the camera pans over a deer grabbing themselves a drink.

This forest scene was actually filmed at Silver Falls State Park, about twenty-six miles east of Salem, Oregon.
