And what is one example of one of those stories that was lodged in your brain that you had to get out?

You know, the very first independent movie that I made was a very violent, very scary movie called Silent Lies.

And in it, I explored some of the deeper, more frightening aspects of my own childhood that had a lot of violence in it.

you know, just kind of crazy soap opera, kind of grand opera elements to it.
