Silencer

It can happen when you fire slowly.

If your flow rate is really, really low, your back pressure is really high.

For example, think Autocrete Labs Polonium, SilencerCo, Saker, original AAC M4-2000.

You know, those really high back pressure silencers, gas stack can happen at really low rates of fire.

Or it might only happen when you fire really, really, really fast.

So there shouldn't be any arguments about what's a K can and what's not a K can.

Silencer companies can call their silencers K silencers all day long until the cows come home.

And I don't care.

How long is the silencer with the mount from? And when you install it in the gun, what's the length from the barrel shoulder to the tip of the silencer? And that's the length that we report in the reports.

It's something that I think is in the design.

I don't think it's egregious, okay? But it's there.

And when you are at the very, very top levels of performance like the Silencer is, that's one thing that you're going to have to start to compare.

Now, keep in mind, caveat.

There's really not a tab here on how we talk about the method of manufacturing, the method of design.

So with the UK, the UK's outer texture is actually superimposed on the inner wall.

So it's actually a big corrugation.

And like, I'll go right out and say it, it's 30,000th thick.

That inner surface also helps disrupt annular flow.

So it actually hits the brakes by just the virtue of the design.

Um, so there's a lot going on with the pattern of that, of the UK that isn't really being done with a lot of other cans that I've seen out there.

and that's not like me trying to flex but that's just me working with a guy who's been in the industry for 45 years with 20 of them being an additive saying i'm not leveraging the technology right so density and weight isn't always just a material specific thing there are guys out there that are printing incanal way too thick we've got cans that are super duper heavy it's too thick And then they choose that thickness.
