Silat

Yeah, definitely care most about like Ken and Ryu, that relationship.

Chun-Li, I think she probably has one of the most, a lot of martial arts experience with like Silat and Wushu.

Wushu is more performance.

And I guess she bulked up her thighs to try to match the look of Chun-Li.

He's in Orphan Black.

And with this film, it's sort of like his big sort of breakout because from here he then goes off to do things like Barbie and... um provide doing voice work on um Bright Samurai Soul so it's it's kind of uh I didn't wasn't I was only when I saw like looking into his background more that I realized just what a background he actually has in martial arts because he trained in taekwondo gymnastics and Wing Chun But at the same time, he's also, for the role, he also did training in Tai Chi, Wushu Muay Thai, Silat, Krav Maga, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Street Fighting.

Yeah, pretty experienced for the role,

yeah, we're doing Filipino martial arts using Kali sticks and knife work and learning disarms and takedowns.

And Silat is the other style that I'm doing, which is actually the style is Mafilindo Silat, which is a mixture of like Malaysian Filipino martial.

see lots and it's a lot of um like effortless takedowns using the other person's energy to like throw themselves to the ground and um that's been really fun

And, um, now I do Silat.

Uh, well, my dad does Silat, so I've always had a Silat thing in the background, but I've kind of like, you know, you come full circle, and you become more like your parents.
