Silas Lowe

He is a Gold Patch winner here at The Hook, and he has an injured finger, and so we've been...

Silas Lowe, who's commonly our co-host as well, him and Caitlin Cann, they're both back in Nashville writing songs, so Tom has been gracious enough to show up.

Yeah, we're coming to you from Austin, Texas, and this week is the first week of ACL Fest or Austin City Limits Fest.

And when Austin City Limits started, so when it very first started, There was a book this guy named Jan Reed wrote called The Improbable Rise of Redneck Rock.

That's probably my biggest point of feedback, but I like the aggression of it.

Yeah, don't mind, I jump in here real quick because I know Silas Lowe, who's been on here a bunch on the panel, he'll say, and he said this one time and I agree with it, it's like, it's okay to not rhyme a song, but it's almost like if you're not rhyming in a song, you can't rhyme anything in the song.

And as soon as you start rhyming some things in a song without rhymes, that's where it's like, ooh, okay, where are we at? So I think figuring out one or the other might be...

It's definitely a delicate balance.
