Terrible name.

It's like Zig Zig Sputnik,

isn't it? Great name.

Great name.

And, um, uh, And I kind of stopped paying attention to the more temporary pleasures of, you know, whatever it was then.

Was it Happy Mondays, Wonderstuff? Was it Zig Zig Sputnik? Or then it was Oasis and Blur.

I just never paid attention to any of them.

They just passed me by.

This week's song for David Preston was Homicide by 999.

I've always liked 999 but I've never realised until David told me that Nick Cash and Guy Days of the band were actually brothers and when they were auditioning members for the band they turned down Chrissie Hynde, John Moss and Tony James, latterly of Generation X and Zig Zig Sputnik.
