It's not the Werner Herzog film, but a romantic drama from 2025, which you wrote and directed.

So how was that process?

And then it was, you know, the film is a good film, but it is a, dare I say, it's kind of a great film because of Ann Dudley.

Out of these six choices, Joseph, which one do you feel most strongly should be better known?

I both create my own stories in whatever form.

Films, a film came out last year that I wrote and directed, Signs of Life, and that was great joy.

Little novels, whatever.

I don't care if they ever get read or seen in a way.

You think you're writing about something very different to yourself, but what happens is bits of you come in.

And it was just fun.

I actually got writer's block halfway through, stopped dead after about three chapters, and then went off and made a film, my own film, Signs of Life.

and then i came back to it and with the help of my new partner lily who really kept poking me and wanting to read bits she's like you've got to write some more i want to read some more and that it really helps having someone poking you i got it done about 18 months ago and then was going to self-publish it and then unbelievably got a real publisher um with scorpius books and it's and these things take a while so then i forgot about it for a year and then suddenly it came out and here it is And it's going down very well.
