Alpine Endurance Team

Um, apparently, they just couldn't reach a deal.

Um, we haven't actually had an official spokesperson from either side, but the rumors are saying that the actual team that runs the Alpine team have basically said, "Nah, it doesn't look like, um, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen." Apparently, the talks between the actual group, um, in Geely and then the team running, um, the Alpine team, Signatech, apparently are progressing, but apparently there was just a halt, um, as of yesterday.

Um, it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.

Um, basically, when they had the European Le Mans Series in P- Portimao, um, apparently, uh, the actual principal of Alpine, Philippe Sinault, told m- told us that, um, everything was under control, the situation had progressed really well.

But then Geely were like, "Nah." Uh, they haven't really said anything at all to counter this and say how great it is, which is weird.

Um, the actual founder of the Signatech team, because they run all of Alpine's WEC program, have actually said that they're looking to join LMP2.

If they're thinking of joining LMP2, that doesn't give you hope that LMP1 is gonna continue.

And by LMP1, I'm sure the established listeners will know we talk about hypercar.
