Sigma fp

Every camera can do it this day and age.

So I can't give a pass to the Sigma FP for not doing a great job for tracking subjects because it didn't do a great job tracking subjects.

And it is what it is.

I'm just going to, but that's why I recorded the EVF today to do it.

I don't also think it was a good place to test out cameras.

But, you know, the thing with the Sigma FP, which we go into detail on the on the the raw talk that came out today, and I Stephen told me it came out late.

It wasn't his fault.

It was the The system didn't go live, which is really annoying that when you schedule something and it doesn't go, but whatever.

And like you say, Sigma makes the lenses.

I'm pretty sure when they were designing the I series primes, like, "Oh, we'll make sure that looks nice on the front [laughs] of, of our new BF." But, and these aren't the latest current cameras, but, you know, the FP, which is a predecessor to this in some ways, um, also a, a, a different version of the same thing.

Also very unique, very different, a bit mad.

But I mean, that's a full-frame camera.

Yeah.

Yeah, smaller than an S9.

Um, and yeah, the thing with, so the, the, the selling point of the FP is this is the, this is Sigma FP, and there's the FP L, which is the same camera, but that's a 61 megapixel sensor.

Yeah.

I kinda worked through the CIPA and these IDC results and, you know, there's some assumptions in there, but we'll talk about that and what that means for the future.

We'll talk about the new Meta VR glasses, the Nikon Z52C, uh, the Sigma fp open gate hack, um, the Kron- Chronos Q12 high-speed camera, and a really big update to the RODECaster Video, which actually makes it 4K capable, which might change things for us here in the studio.

We're not quite sure yet.

Um, we'll talk about the Adobe After Effects AI Assistant, which we already awarded one of the Best of Show awards at IBC, but we only now report about it, what it is.

Um, so the Sigma FP, Tony, if you wanna talk about this, has been hacked for OpenGate.

Yeah, I mean, uh, a-a-again, we heard about it, um, I think it was during IBC, and Ole, our good friend, um, noted and he, he me- he met us and say, "Guys, did you hear about this h-hack for the Sigma FP? Now it can record in OpenGate 3K, 3x2 CinemaDNG, 12-bit RAW, full sensor readout." And-
