Well, I like to empty the trap via gravity, so there is a reservoir below the trap and floodgates to the side.

Admittedly, this was before the Siege update, and I just used tiny drawbridges in the wall so they couldn't break through.

Now they could potentially just ruin my drawbridge.

Who knows? Essentially, I had like holes in the wall I could open and then the water would rush down into the reservoir and I could pump it up from the reservoir using wind power into the water trap.

And, frankly, he would have very little incentive to do so.
