Siege of Jadotville

So much more to get through, but now we're all going to learn a little of a story that many of us will know about, but many more of us, I think, will know little of.

The Siege of Jadaville is described as an extraordinary story and the long campaign to ensure the men who fought there received the recognition they deserved.

It's going to be explored at a special event in Kilkenny on Wednesday the 21st at the New Park Hotel.

And I have a number of men joining us on the show now to explain the story of the event and what's going to be happening on the night.

And for decades, they were regarded as cowards when they came home.

They initially came home as heroes, and they were then known as Jadaville Jacks or cowards.

When people look at the story, and the story, if anyone hasn't seen The Siege of Jadaville, they should look at that before Wednesday night.

It's on Netflix.
