Sideshow alley

I do want to talk about your memories of the show and what it was like then and the Dirty Big Four and Twenty and the White Bull and older type memories of the show.

And I'm sure there was a Sideshow Alley where people who weren't like the rest of us were exhibited for our pleasure some years ago.

Oh, Greg,

you don't remember that, do you? No, I do.

I remember just seeing all the wonderful things.

I mean, the Sideshow Alley and the show bags.

Which ride would you go on? Are you a

rides man?

I was making eyes at her across the water arc, waiting for the last beats of You Shook Me All Night Long to catch her name, when an ambulance cut through the fairground.

It was headed for Sideshow Alley, so I passed the hose and followed.

There was a gathering at the clown heads.

Doreen's body had been hidden amongst the stuffed toys.

Yeah.

And what other things can people expect at the Singleton show this year? Like, obviously, Sideshow Alley with all its things.

Yeah,

well, we've got the fireworks, which is proudly sponsored by Bailey's.

I think there's a lot more room to move around these days.

It used to be quite narrow, es-especially through s- Sideshow Alley.

Okay.

So, you know, that's probably where I developed my evasive skills, was in Sideshow Alley.

[laughs]

Was it really?
