Remember when Michael Moore took the 9-11 first responders to Cuba for free healthcare in his documentary, Sicko, from 2007? Because the American government refused to help them there's a long time-honored tradition of the left trying to do their very best to help 9 11 first responders 9 11 victims and the right simply weaponizing their memory in order to wage war destroy american civil liberties and then consistently foment hatred towards muslims all around the world which then ended up obviously in spectacular failures but failures that were designed as failures so that parasitic capital could continue engaging in wars, permanent wars, for profit and plunder.

Okay? That's just the most American history.

It blows my mind that 25 years after, this narrative still continues, it still persists, and it's also... repeated by not just the disgusting reactionary pigs in the Republican Party, but it's also repeated by disgusting reactionary pieces of shit in the Democratic Party as well, who actively lean into these Islamophobic narratives, these narratives of hate, because they have their own factional battles that they're fighting within the Democratic Party.

The writer then cites two names in parentheses, Rosenthal, comma, Moore.

Prosecutors say the Moore in parentheses is Michael Moore, the famous filmmaker who made the 2007 film Sicko, exploring his views on the crisis of healthcare in America.

And the Rosenthal, according to prosecutors, is longtime health reporter Dr. Elisabeth Rosenthal.

She wrote An American Sickness, a book that argues that America's for-profit medical system exploits vulnerable and sick patients.
