Welcome back to How to Convince with Lawyer Vince.

Today, we're talking about being shy, and I wanna say something right away that might surprise you.

Shy isn't the problem.

How you speak because you're shy, now that's the problem, and those are two completely different things.

A lot of people spend years trying to become less shy, trying to force themselves into being more outgoing, more talkative, more like the person at the party who never runs out of things to say, and it doesn't work because that's not actually who they are, and forcing it just feels like they're wearing a costume that never fits right, you know? But here's what I've noticed.

The goal is much smaller and much more achievable than that.

It's making sure that when you do speak, however often that is, however quietly that is, what comes out lands the way you actually meant it to.

Shy people often have some of the most thoughtful, well-considered things to say in any room precisely because they spent more time listening and thinking than performing.

Now it's gonna be your way.

So it's gonna be chronic shyness.

It's gonna be speech delay, problems with your speech, stutter, language barriers, vocabulary, struggling to find the right words.

The situations are endless when it comes to verbal communication.

The transition is already happening.

The breakdown and the new is already coming in to replace the old.

So the 33 then has amazing opportunity to express verbally and creatively a new message to inspire others, to teach others, to entertain others in any one of those or all three put together to raise the world's vibration, their emotional state and nurture a world audience that So your life is going to be getting past limitations from the world, struggles internally like your own shyness, your own difficulties with getting out the words you need.

However, that may manifest.

And this is where introversion and shyness can get confused.

Introversion doesn't mean you're afraid to talk to people.

Shyness is more about fear, or discomfort around social interaction.

Social anxiety is another topic altogether.

An introvert can walk into a room, talk to people, make friends, give a presentation, enjoy themselves, and still be ready for some quiet time after.

Confidence is a language.

Timidity is a language.

And just when you speak it, those watching understand.

They know what you are saying.

Fathers distribute house and substance to their children, but a woman is joined to a man by God.

Timidity restrains the effeminate, and the soul of the idle will suffer hunger.

He who keeps a commandment preserves his own soul, but he who despises his own ways will perish.

He who has compassion on the poor lends to God, and he will repay him according to his gift.
