I think we are also in a really specific era, sort of stepping back from the Jason of it all now, because this story, while it's about plagiarism, felt very familiar in the sense that I feel like I've read a similar version of this in different ways over and over again this past year or so, because it's kind of the latest in a number of scandals, some of which you've mentioned, in which a prominent person is accused of publishing work or writing work doing work that isn't their own, whether that be because people believe it is AI generated or that they were committing plagiarism.
