Showing Teeth

Yay.

But I guess with that, um, even though we talked about it, at that point, like, I guess can you give people the sum-up of, I guess, Showing Teeth, how it started a little bit, I guess, so your backstory of that for people that don't know?

Yeah.

So I have played bass for a long time.

Um, but yeah, I always would write music with people, and it just wasn't ever my vibe.

And so after I took a bit of a break from music in college, I decided that I just, if I was gonna do the music I want to do, I just had to, like, do it myself.

So I started basically, that was when Showing Teeth started in its infancy, just without a name.

Um, just writing here and there and making a shit-ton of demos.

And he ended up like, You know, he and I stayed friends throughout college.

And after school was over, I was playing with, I was playing shows with my friend, Dan Book, who now funny enough, kind of full circle, he and I are back working together on this project called Showing Teeth.

He's the head producer for the music, but he and I are writing together.

We're working with Addison on that project.

i wanted to ask you as well about obviously with the new album i feel stupid now talking about drums

it feels weird kind

of please but obviously you've got um the insane videos that have come out recently with Meinl playing periphery tracks playing Showing Teeth which for the listeners incredible band on Instagram seem to just the videos of Addison just sat in a car screaming along to Under Oath I see those a lot but how was it kind of recording those and being part of that because I recommend everyone goes and checks out those Meinl videos
