This is The Rob Carson Show.

It's a song about faith.

I think it is, anyway.

It's about a guy who, uh...

Says, "Nail in my head from my creator.

You gave me life, now show me how to live." And Chris Cornell was the, well, the, the lead singer of that song, and he, he ended up committing suicide.

It was, uh, it was a shame.

In others, he does sound like classic Chris Cordell.

I would say probably Show Me How to Live is the best example of that.

Maybe Cochise, the other single, are kind of ones where he's got the best version of himself.

There's others, though, where he definitely sounds... like a little off for Chris Cordell or a little tired, even strained at different parts.

So I wasn't exactly sure what we were...

And I think I liked that song fine, but I really liked the beginning.
