Shottas

It was literally dubbed Tubi movies, you know.

Uh, you had films like Shottas or whatever, but you know, people really like those indie, kinda rugged, you know, non, non-polished movies.

And so when Tubi, as Tubi grew, a lot of their, um, creators that they built the platform with were offloaded, essentially.

So my dad wanted to create a platform that were, that stayed true to the independent creator, you know, those creators that are fresh out of college, the creators that are making their first film, you know, that, you know, maybe don't know how to navigate the licensing and distribution world, you know, or that simply didn't wanna wait nine months in the Tubi lot or get sent to the YouTube graveyard.

This, that, and the third.

Because y'all niggas was watching Shottas, so y'all was blue in the face.

That wasn't the...

the best cinema photography and writing and all of that stuff.

If you disrespect-

The Shottas ball will make the whole world know.

So from a gal up to date, we deport them.

Can't keep up with the trends, we report them.

Yo.

She say, "Just relax and let me be the team."

Shottas, Shottas, Shottas, Shottas.

No, no, no.
