Also, for anybody who is interested or would like to know what's happening in the book world, September is usually where people celebrate short stories.

It's called Short Story September and it's also known as Suffolk September.

So in case you want to celebrate a lot of books by Not books by, but books that have sapphic characters in them.

This is the time.

So I finished it.

Yeah, it was made.

The next book I finished reading was a short story collection, The Accidentals by Guadalupe Nittel.

We read this author in March for the Indulgent Bibliophile.

It is, and it's flying out the door.

One simple reason, it's adaptation of Blind by Boat Club's book, Short Stories.

Before I took on this job, I know his podcast and I know his work, but his books are number one bestsellers.

And they got fabulous reviews.

The short stories got fabulous reviews.

And people say to me, what are you doing? I say, well, I'm doing an adaptation.

So TK Eldridge said, this year has been rough mentally, and I was beating myself up for not getting one short story out so far.

But I have three books I'm working on now that should be out before the end of the year.

Previous years, I've done eight to 15 books a year, but there's been a lot to deal with this year, and I'm doing well now.

But anyways, these are some of the things I struggle with.

And it's the same thing is I'm not going to be able to get, you know, this morning when I had a whole bunch of conflicting tasks I needed to get done.

I, there was a short story I wanted to finish that I've kind of been struggling with working on for the last few days.

I thought I really want to get this done, but I knew I needed a good hour to two hours to get the whole story done.

The first one being Catabasis, which we've talked about a little bit on the podcast and how we're working on some other stuff with Catabasis.

And for the books i've read not in any particular order the next one is someone who will love you in all your damaged glory it's a selection of short stories by rafael bob waxberg i don't know how to say this guy's name the next one is future oh futuristic violence and fancy suits this was actually gifted to me about a decade ago and i was like i guess i'll read it The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, Dune by Frank Herbert.

And then, do you want to do your finished books? And then we can go into the ones that I'm currently reading? Yeah.

So the first book I'll fully talk about is Someone Who Will Love You in All Your Damaged Glory.

I don't really read too many short stories currently.

I only picked up this book because the author is actually the creator of BoJack Horseman.
