Uh, it was by the author of a new book, and the author is a journalist called Shlomi Eldar, and he's got a co-author as well.

But I know Shlomi.

We've spoken many times before on various issues.

I mentioned it last week here on the Mossad Files, the claim that Netanyahu had a strong warning before the atrocities of October 7th, 2023, that Hamas in Gaza was planning a very big attack And Netanyahu reportedly did nothing, didn't even tell them Assad, the domestic agency Shin Bet, or the military.

That story comes from Israeli journalists Shlomi Eldar and Ruth Yuval in their new book in Hebrew and in the newspaper Haaretz.

During the summer of 2023, according to their reporting, there were indirect contacts involving the Shin Bet security agency and representatives of Yahya Sinwar, the military chief of Hamas in Gaza.

Supposedly, there was a go-between, a Palestinian, we believe in the West Bank, a man with a nickname in that book, Coal Eyes.

So do you believe it? Does it seem to be well-sourced? What's your

I have heard the journalists directly, and I know a little bit Shlomi Eldar, and he's a serious journalist.

It seems more than possible during that period of time.

So I have the document, I have records, I have everything that shows that the war could have been prevented.

Speaking to CNN's Jake Tapper, Eldar says he worked confidential sources for nearly a year and a half, and that the prime minister was informed by Mohammed bin Zayed that the Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, was planning what was described as a big surprise.

The report, published in Haaretz, that's a Jewish newspaper, again, not the Jimmy Dore Show, uh, was based on findings from an upcoming book by Israeli journalists Shlomi Eldar and Rudi Yuval.

It said the UAE president, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, called Netanyahu 10 days before October 7th and, during a 45-minute call, warned him that Hamas' Gaza leader, Yahya Sinwar, was planning a major move against Israel that could cause bloodshed and destabilize the region.

The report cited a message Sinwar conveyed to the United Arab Emirates and Israel through a Palestinian mediator in September 2023 warning of an upcoming earthquake.

He didn't brief Israel's security chiefs.
