Shiverstruck

LA's Jillian Medford makes music as Ian Sweet.

Her most recent release, Shiverstruck, is out now.

It was written during Medford's second year living in New York City.

For a new FUV Live session hosted by Sam Sumter, Medford and her band played a set from the new album.

Medford also explained how Shiverstruck is self-reflective.

I think this album is really, really of the moment for me.

You know, I feel like it's the most me thing I've ever made.

Yeah.

Shiverstruck is the fifth album as Ian Sweet, which is the moniker under which Jilian Medford makes music.

And the way she was explaining it is how this is basically the vessel through which she's been tossing in her feelings and experiences-

Mm

Yeah.

Uh, this is Silver Screen from the new album, Shiverstruck, from Ian Sweet on WFUV.

Looking at my life in its final form.
