Ship Creek

And they did.

And the midpoint was a place that they called Ship Creek Landing.

And this was a place where, okay, we can bring stuff in here and we'll just landed here at ship Creek.

We'll land all of our materials here.

And that became eventually the port of Anchorage.

But ship Creek landing was created until 1913.

And it was a tent city.

And so you had this, you know, tent city in Alaskan winters, right? But that's where everybody lived.
