We explored a little bit more while we were there and discovered that Atami had some really cool young vibrancy.

And it also had the Shinkansen stop and put Tokyo, you know, within 45 minutes.

45 minutes? From

Atami Station to Tokyo Station.

London deodorant is much stronger than the local deodorant, and so you notice the smell a bit more.

And I think that that's one thing that quite a few Japanese find a bit off-putting, is if you're on the Shinkansen and someone is sitting next to you with heavy cologne on, or if you're on the the subway and you have to deal with someone else's perfume or their deodorant

that's definitely true i mean often it's not it's not particularly bad smell i mean sometimes it's And so I have a few aftershaves and scents and colognes and things from back home.

But the ones that I use the most, which to be honest, I don't use them anywhere near as much as I did back when I was living in the UK.

And if you have got your headphones in, not having the music going too loudly so it's leaking out.

And that

would be on the Shinkansen as well as the commuter train, wouldn't it? And the bus, anything.

But it makes life better, though, doesn't it, I think?

They've actually partnered with DDT Pro Wrestling in the past where they've held DDT Train Pro Wrestling on the Choshi Electric Railway.

Is that a sign of things to come for TJPW maybe? This is not the same railway where they did the bullet train, the Shinkansen pro wrestling event, TJPW.

But maybe, just maybe, we will get Shinkansen pro wrestling 2 electric boogaloo or Choshi electric railway wrestling.

We'll have to wait and find out.

I'm sure that Raku will definitely hold some conversations and some negotiations for the 25 to 30 minute period where she is the special conductor.

Meanwhile, Sam and Ben are playing hide and seek in one of Japan's great landscapes, but are struggling to get into each other's mind palaces.

They do finally beat the challenge while Adam and Tom are still on the train admiring flood walls and counting things from the scavenger hunt, so Sam and Ben backtrack a few stations to catch a Shinkansen that looks like a beluga whale all the way to Kobe.

Ben does a secret snack zone on this train, which Sam is immediately suspicious of, and they finally have a pretty chill trip up north on the train.

There's no agony going on yet.

I think this episode is really where we see some of the early moves start to pay dividends, especially some of those choices in cards.

I want to talk about the cards both teams have in their hands, and how they're starting to play or plan to play them.

Shinkansen cards appear to be the most straightforward use cases.

You use them when you want to go fast.
