Shinji Aramaki

There was Claire de Lune, which premiered on January 16th, 2022, written by Margaret Dunlap, and All the Best Memories premiered on January 23rd, 2022, written by Eugene Son.

And they were all directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.

Continuing to look at our voice cast, we have Neander Wallace Sr., who is now deceased, that was voiced by Brian Cox, who is a Scottish Shakespearean actor known for portraying King Lear, and he also played William Stryker in X2, the X-Men movie.

Mm.

The Davis Report premiered on January 9th, 2022, written by Eugene Son, and Free Will aired on January 16th, 2022, written by Brandon Auman.

And all the episodes are directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.

In Episode 9, we get a reference to the original Blade Runner.

Neander Wallace Sr. says, "Look what happened to Eldon Tyrell," in reference to, uh, the replicants killing their creators.

Trivia time: What facts or news could we uncover for these episodes?

So these were Blade Runner Black Lotus Season 1, Episode 6: The Persistence of Memory, which originally premiered on December 12th, 2021, written by Margaret Dunlap and directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, and Episode 7: Reality, which premiered on December 19th, 2021, written by Alex DeCampi, also directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.

And this is somewhat the, like, mid-season finale of the show because it does take a couple weeks off before coming back, presumably just because of, like, holidays.

But so I don't have any specific trivia, but I did pull some information on a couple of voice actors.

And then we had Pressure, which aired on December 5th, 2021, written by Eugene Song.

And both of these are directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.

All right, so the last time we recorded, I said that Blade Runner 2099 had been pushed to 2027.

And that turned out to be a bunch of bullshit.

These were written by Alex DeCampi and Brandon Ullman, respectively.

And directors are Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama, who

are the co-directors for

the full series.
