Magikarp turning into Gyarados is another beautiful one.

disappointing because Shiftry was just like one of the ultimate class cannons, I feel like, way back in the day, like in the meta, yeah.

I love grass type.

And I, you know, taking starters completely out of the equation, my favorite grass type of all time outside of a starter is, uh, Shiftry from Gen 3, and it's because of XD Gale of Darkness.

You know, when playing through Pokemon Ruby, because, uh, CDOT was only available there, never used CDOT because I would always fill grass' role on my team with something else, whether if it was Treecko or someone else throughout the game, like a Tropius or whatever.

So, like, playing through XD Ga- Gale of Darkness, caught a, caught a, uh, a Nuzleaf at some point, and he became my number two of the game.

And it made me fall in love with, with Shiftry.

Uh, just the whole core idea of the game is just, it's one of those things with Pokemon spinoffs games, like, you know, we- we've had Pokemon Conquest as a Game Set Game of the Week, which is like your fire emblem Pokemon.

You know, these spinoff games, like the Mystery Dungeons, which are super, super heavy story and obviously a very different type of game with, like, the dungeon crawling e- elements to it.

Oh, absolutely.

Oh, and by the way, I didn't, uh, I didn't, uh, make my Pokemon [chuckles] comparison because I got way into the story, but Shiftry.

[laughs] Yeah, I got way into it, like I get really into storytelling.

But Shiftry, if you look up the Pokemon Shiftry, he was, uh, based off of the, uh, Tengu.

He actually even wears like the, the, uh, OG sandals with only like one little stack of wood underneath.

Um, they're meant for like balancing and stuff.
