She's Country

Today's guest is the great Danny Myrick.

You know him from songs like Truck Yeah, recorded by Tim McGraw, International Harvester, recorded by Craig Morgan, She's Country, recorded by Jason Aldean.

The list goes on and on, and he's got a really inspiring story.

Before we get started, don't forget, we've got this live event coming up in October.

Yeah.

And, um, and she came in with this whole vibe of, like, man, really pissy and ornery like she can be, and she's like, "Man, there's not enough songs for girls on the radio.

I'm sick of this, this male-driven whatever." I said, "Well, let's, let's write a song." She's, "I already started one." So she had the whole first verse of She's Country.

Mm-hmm.

I like those.

And last time you guys were here, you told me a brief snippet about She's Country, Jason Aldean, how you guys had that first.

I focused in a lot on the Miranda Lambert story.

Hey, that got

low cash coming in.

I want to revisit.

So I want to get more on the Jason Aldean, She's Country song and how that, what happened.

You know, we had that song early on, Jeffrey Steele.
