this movie the vibe was very fun it was really unique and I will say that it like didn't totally work for me as a movie but I also was into it which that does I don't know if that makes sense but like I enjoyed it but I also didn't think that it totally worked Shirley's great so good at being creepy Um, I think that they definitely missed some opportunities with this movie, which you hinted at in your comment about the psychic connection.

his fire walk with me david lynch's film uh which is a sequel to um you know twin peaks but there's a prequel to it and it's the the the logic of the sequel that's a prequel is that like okay well so this is the origin story but it's the origin story that we could only tell because we already established something else you know and and and even if it was written ahead of time I think that doesn't really matter so much because like, uh, you know, the, there's now this, there's now the, the actor has played this character now for whatever, 20 episodes, you know, Cheryl Lee has, has, uh, you know, has not necessarily played, uh, Laura Palmer, but Laura Palmer has existed for her for two years and she played her cousin right on the show.

Then we see the voltage light box that... makes the light within laura so they're actually filming that in the same position as where cheryl will be and we get to see kyle being coached how to be surprised at the ceiling when laura first screams and then there's kind of a comedy of errors because cheryl lee getting pulled out or dropped um you know it just doesn't look right the effect doesn't look right to lynch and you know her getting lifted up by the platform the platform moves so slow and everything and then he makes a joke you know it's like you know can they throw her get on ropes you know just grab her and you know then there's a change of plans for the cooper sequence where lynch actually has cooper race through the curtains after gerard so that was going to be as methodical as everything else so that kind of leads me to think that there really is something to cooper being kind of modified by some other creature to make him move faster than he usually would in the red room.
