just wasn't good enough on the night and in a fight that was riddled with mistakes and a certain level of opportunity I think CLD will feel that he left a little bit of that fight behind him when he looks at that today

it was a little bit like the Ian Garry fight it was and I was like you're just asking him to open up a little bit more but the one thing I would say is I think he actually did plan to do that because he came out at a rate of knots like I watched in fact our last few fights and I kind of predicted that when we were talking about an over in Sherdog as well and then he did they came out they both came out like the first two minutes of the fight or maybe a little bit less they were going gangbusters at it, but then, he kind of slowed down, when he got taken down, you're kind of, you're probably thinking to yourself, okay, this has gone against the plan now, I'm going to have to pull back a little bit, but, you, you know, you take away what brought you to the dance as well, and that's never good, like, he should have been thrown a little bit more wild things, and when he did throw a few mad things, like, he threw a spinning elbow there at one stage, it, like, it worked really well, and there was a one stage, he didn't, necessarily hurt Brendan Allen but he kind of got him thinking about it but just the card as well and you mentioned it all three judges had it exactly the same they had the first and the fourth for CLD and they had the second and the third for Allen with the point deduction obviously so if CLD had won the last round it would have been a draw if he'd lost it Allen would have won the unanimous decision so you know it was look a fight on a knife edge when it ended so you know it was you know good matchmaking a good fight and all that but um

the mix there in the middleweight division now you know he's up there close with tying the record for the most wins in the middleweight division he's only 30 years of age you know you could see him absolutely just blowing past that record and you know if he's able to put on a performance like that even though it wasn't that good but with the circumstances he was dealing with you know it'll be interesting to see how he goes against you know maybe another top five guy again yeah
