Shelter Cove

And those who are listening, if you go and watch on YouTube, you'll see some of the videos of the stuff we're going through.

But it was, we decided to go down to Shelter Cove, which is a really cool place.

We were gonna grab a picnic lunch.

The route goes on the Lost Coast, Metol Road, which is just bizarre.

I mean, there's cows walking on the water like you'd see people or horses.

It's just a surreal place.

We're like, hey, we'll go to Shelter Cove.

We'll grab a picnic lunch at this grocery store, general store.

And we came across this little place.

It called shelter Cove and I'd never been there.

And I love going to the coast.

I thought I had been to all Northern coast beaches, but I was wrong.

I'd never been to shelter Cove.

So.

We actually drove out there and looked at a couple fixer uppers.

So it's the extreme northern part of California.

And we went to a little town called Shelter Cove.

And it is situated on a region that's kind of just nicknamed the Lost Coast.

And it's called that because...

They're massive and they go up 300 feet.

So we were not planning on going to this very special place called Avenue of the Giants because it was just a little bit north of where we had to turn.

to get to Shelter Cove.

But I've been there a few times in my past, but not since like 1997 was the last time I went out to Shelter Cove.
